Description
1964 Ford Fairlane 500. Fairlanes were a popular model at the time. They didn't cost the world, and they were light. Put those together, and to the right mind, that opens possibilities. They came with a wide range of engines, up to the 427 inch V8. This one's got a 289. The highbeam headlights have been removed, and the openings have been screened over and ducted to the engine air intake.

Had one like this in 1964 with a K-code 289. Loved that car, but 3 accidents in 4000 miles made it unsafe (at least in my own mind) and then got a '65 Mustang fastback with a K-code 289, to replace it. Loved that one, too, and then later, I think in 1980 I got a sweet Boss 302. Check out my current cars on my DA site!
