Ignoring the pups

The Star Chief was Pontiac's premium model until it was eventually pushed aside and dropped in 1966 as the Catalina and the Bonneville came to the fore. The Star Chief is identifiable by the stars on the sides.

This one looks to be about 1957 to me. I smiled a bit as I was taking this. The young guys were all over the VW bus next door and paid little attention to the old chief. I try to look at everything at these things, but some folks just like some eras, I guess. As I watched them ignore the Pontiac, I got the sense that the feeling was mutual.
