Description
You go on and look at all the flashy ponies, honey. I'll be here when you want to go home.
The Mercury truck line was available in Canada only and was identical to the Ford F-series (which were also available here at the same time) to about 1968. The only differences were in the trim and the designation. Ford trucks had their rough load rating as F-1, and later F-100, F-150, etc, and Mercs had M-1, M-100 and so on.
This one's an M-1 from about 1952-53. I shot this late during a dark cruise night, and the heavy clouds had already caused the lot lights to come on, hence the bright spots in the finish.
